“EGGO” is an unofficial project nickname based on its location in Ao Khai (Egg Bay), Rayong province. Before turning to X2 Rayong and after that, became Centara Sappaya Design Resort Rayong as the current name.

 

The planning layout was designed on the contour slope, in relating to the slope in geography. The scenery of Ao Khai can be seen by every units in the hotel, by using slab roof from the room under as a private terrace for the room above it. It was build as a reflecting pool as in first place instead of handrails, but then modify as more appropriate.
